Not long after going to our first BrickFair Benjamin challenged me on of the build battles that I mentioned in that post. However, upon sitting down to begin I realized that there were no bricks left to build with! He and Julia both love building creations but neither one ever wants to take anything apart and I was met with quite a bit of consternation when I suggested it.
So a few days later I instituted our first Lego Reset Day! The idea was that all creations (other than a few very precious ones) would be gathered up and dismantled. All bricks would be re-sorted (we store them by color) and we would be able to once again build with abandon. It sounded great. But before we could begin I had to do some convincing... a lot of convincing. I finally received grudging agreement but only on the condition that all important creations were photographed and documented first!
