Julia’s latest obsession is filling bags with objects she finds around the house and carrying them around. In case you’re curious here is the inventory of two of the bags in the photo above.
In the little black and gold bag are:
- a duplo block
- a bag of Christmas playdoh that we made yesterday
- a long silver ribbon
- a light-up pumpkin Halloween decoration
- 15 pom poms (assorted colors)
- a candy cane cookie cutter
- a chocolate coin
In the large black and white bag she has:
- a plastic box with her wedgit building blocks
- a wreath and tree christmas cookie cutters
- a pink stuffed penguin
- a stuffed rabbit
- a stuffed pelican
- a piece of my food processor (the food pusher part) – good to know where that is!
- a plastic zucchini
- a couple of wooden blocks
- a piece of cardboard
- a doll blanket
- a plastic giraffe
- a coin purse with a chocolate kiss (funny enough, even though she has chocolate stored in each bag she does ask us if it’s okay before she eats any!)
Andrew and I have taken to joking that they are like black holes – everything ends up in one of her bags. If we’re missing anything or need something it’s the first place we look!
