Fun in the Sun

Last year we found this little beach on the Chesapeake Bay in North Beach, MD.  It’s great for kids as it’s protected by jetties on all sides and the water doesn’t get more than 3 feet deep for a couple hundred yards out.  Yesterday we decided that we would continue to celebrate Andrew’s birthday this weekend by going to the beach today and we had a fabulous day!  The weather was beautiful – 90s and sunny, the beach wasn’t too crowded, and everyone was having fun.  We dug in the sand… Had a good lunch…

And did LOTS of swimming!!

Julia loved the water and had a great time playing, splashing, and trying to swim from Mom to Dad.  It was a perfect day!
